Short Burra clip from De Pernas Pro Ar by O Gordo e o Magro, used as a funny reaction sound for calling someone silly or catching a dumb mistake online.

The Burra sound is a very short, punchy vocal clip that lands like a blunt punchline. The word is delivered with exaggerated emphasis, making a simple insult feel theatrical rather than serious. At just over two seconds, it cuts in fast, gets the laugh, and disappears before the moment drags. Viewers hear it as instant teasing for a silly mistake, a clueless comment, or an obvious fail. Because the tone is cartoonish and over the top, it works more as playful mockery between friends than as a genuine put-down in edits and reaction videos.

The clip circulates from a recording credited to O Gordo e o Magro, the Portuguese name used for Laurel and Hardy, under the title De Pernas Pro Ar. Cut down to just the Burra moment, it left its original context and spread as a standalone soundboard and messaging clip in Portuguese-speaking communities. Its appeal is the contrast between the old-school comedy source and the very modern use as a quick insult reaction. Shared in short videos and chats, it survives because one word instantly signals playful disbelief at something foolish.
