このサウンドについて

The I Am Atomic sound effect from The Eminence in Shadow anime, Cid Kagenou's famous line used for epic power-up and explosion memes online.

This is Shadow, also known as Cid Kagenou, delivering his signature declaration before unleashing his ultimate attack in The Eminence in Shadow. The line starts low and controlled, then swells with heavy echo and rising energy as he announces himself as atomic. A deep magical blast follows the voice, giving the clip its sense of overwhelming scale. It lands like a final boss moment, instantly turning an ordinary scene into something absurdly powerful and dramatic, which is why viewers feel both awe and comedy from the sheer confidence.

The clip comes from The Eminence in Shadow, the 2022 anime adaptation of Daisuke Aizawa's light novels, where Cid Kagenou roleplays as the all-powerful Shadow. His I Am Atomic attack became the series' most quoted moment and spread through anime edits, TikTok and soundboards in 2022 and 2023. Fans pair it with other theatrical anime declarations like Za Warudo, using it whenever a character acts overwhelmingly powerful. Its mix of serious delivery and excessive destruction keeps it popular for parody power-ups.
