Alan Edge's terrified scream from an Outlast gameplay moment, a short horror reaction clip used for jumpscares, fails and panicked gaming edits.

This is a brief, high-pitched scream taken from an Outlast playthrough moment linked to Alan Edge, lasting just under five seconds. The yell starts suddenly and carries raw panic rather than a performed line, which makes it feel like a genuine reaction to a jumpscare. Its sharp rise and strained tone cut through gameplay audio and instantly signal fear, shock or comic overreaction. Creators use the short burst where a character, player or viewer would lose composure, letting the scream do the work without needing dialogue or explanation afterwards in the scene.

The clip is catalogued from an Outlast gameplay video titled in Portuguese as the sixth part of a series promising more screams and more terror, credited to Alan Edge. Outlast is a first-person survival horror game known for asylum chases and sudden scares, which explains the intense vocal reaction preserved here. Short scream excerpts like this circulate on soundboards because they are easy to drop into streams and edits, and this one remains popular as a compact horror reaction rather than a full gameplay quote or dialogue line.
