Informazioni su questo suono

The iconic boxing announcement let's get ready to rumble, delivered with a dramatic buildup that creators use to introduce fights, competitions and big reveals.

This is the famous pre-fight announcement made in a deep, booming voice, building slowly from a calm opening into a loud, stretched-out call that peaks on the word rumble. The delivery is theatrical and confident, with long pauses and rising energy that make a room feel like a stadium crowd is about to erupt. Hearing it instantly signals that something big is about to begin, turning an ordinary moment into a main event. It works because the voice, pacing and sheer volume create anticipation, excitement and a sense of occasion that viewers recognise immediately, even without seeing a boxing ring.

The phrase was popularised by American ring announcer Michael Buffer, whose booming introduction became the signature opening for major televised boxing matches. Its theatrical delivery made it instantly recognisable far beyond boxing, and it was later adopted for professional wrestling broadcasts, video games, films and advertising. Online, creators lifted the short announcement as a ready-made hype cue, using it to frame competitions, challenges and showdowns. It endures because the line is short, dramatic and universally understood as the signal that the main event is about to start.
