Informazioni su questo suono

German Attack on Titan chant asking are we the food and answering no we are the hunters, used for dramatic anime intros and battle edits and memes.

This is a short German call and response shouted with intense, theatrical energy. A questioning voice asks if humans are the food, and a chorus forcefully answers that they are the hunters instead. The delivery is loud, rhythmic and defiant, with the second half hitting harder than the first. It instantly flips a scene from fear to confidence, making a small moment feel like the start of an epic battle. Viewers familiar with the line feel the surge of determination, while others still hear a clear dramatic reversal in just a few seconds.

The line comes from Guren no Yumiya, the first opening theme for Attack on Titan, released in 2013 and performed by Linked Horizon. Its opening German lyrics frame humanity as prey for the Titans before defiantly reclaiming the role of hunters. As the anime spread worldwide, fans isolated this call and response for edits, reactions and soundboards. The contrast between vulnerability and resolve keeps it popular for moments when someone stops running and fights back, even outside anime contexts.
