Informazioni su questo suono

The clipped hook from Bag Raiders' 2008 track Shooting Stars, best known from the falling meme and surreal fail edits online.

This sound is a short clip from the synth-heavy chorus of Shooting Stars by Australian duo Bag Raiders. It has a bright, glossy electronic feel with a floating melody that instantly signals a weird transition, epic wipeout or dreamlike fail. In memes, the moment usually lands right as someone falls, gets launched or drifts into absurd space visuals. The contrast between the smooth, upbeat music and the ridiculous footage makes the joke feel bigger, cleaner and more surreal than a basic impact sound would.

Shooting Stars is a 2008 electronic track by Australian duo Bag Raiders. Years later, its chorus became widely associated with the Shooting Stars meme, where a person or object appears to fall, fly or drift through edited space scenes. The format spread heavily across short online video platforms and compilation culture because the song's smooth, dreamy drop fits exaggerated motion so well. It remains popular as a recognizable cue for surreal fails, much like Directed by Robert B Weide became shorthand for abrupt punchline endings.
