Informazioni su questo suono

A clipped line from Austrian chancellor Sebastian Kurz saying “Ich will nicht mehr,” used in memes and reaction edits for burnout, frustration or giving up.

This sound is a short spoken clip of Sebastian Kurz saying “Ich will nicht mehr,” a German phrase meaning “I don’t want to anymore” or “I can’t do this anymore” depending on context. The delivery feels flat, tired and resigned, which is exactly why people use it in edits. It lands well as a dry punchline after something goes wrong, gets too repetitive or becomes mentally exhausting. Even for viewers who do not speak German, the tone clearly communicates frustration, fatigue and a sense of being completely done.

The clip is associated with Sebastian Kurz, former Austrian chancellor, and is commonly shared from a speech clip labeled as a Rede an die Nation about the second lockdown. Online, people repurposed the line as a German reaction sound for exhaustion and defeat. Its appeal comes from how short and readable the phrase is, plus the serious political context contrasted with everyday minor problems. That contrast helped it spread in meme edits, Discord chats and short-form reaction videos.
