Informazioni su questo suono

Darth Vader's drawn-out "Nooo" from Star Wars: Episode III, used in memes, fail edits and dramatic reaction clips when something goes terribly wrong.

This clip is Darth Vader's famous extended cry of "Nooo," delivered in a deep, mechanical voice with a burst of raw melodrama. It is short, loud and instantly recognisable, turning any moment into exaggerated tragedy. The sound works because it takes a serious movie scene and makes it funny in everyday contexts, especially when paired with sudden disappointment, betrayal or a ridiculous overreaction. Viewers know the emotion immediately, so even a simple cut to this clip can make a small mistake feel absurdly catastrophic.

This sound comes from Darth Vader in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005), during the scene where he learns Padmé has died. The drawn-out delivery quickly became a remixable reaction clip online because its emotion is so oversized and recognisable. It spread through YouTube edits, soundboards and short meme videos, often used the same way as a fail sound meme to underline a loss, mistake or painfully dramatic setback.
