The Damn Daniel line back at it again with the white Vans, from the 2016 Snapchat meme on Daniel Lara's sneakers, used for outfit reveals and shoe jokes.

This is the instantly recognisable voice clip from the Damn Daniel meme, built around a young male voice cheerfully repeating back at it again with the white Vans over quick cuts. The delivery is playful and teasing, with an upbeat, almost chant-like rhythm that makes the sneaker compliment feel like a running joke. Hearing it triggers instant nostalgia for mid-2010s internet culture, and it lands as lighthearted hype rather than an insult. In edits it works like a verbal spotlight, telling viewers to look at the shoes and laugh along at the exaggerated admiration.

The clip comes from a series of Snapchat videos posted in February 2016 by teenager Josh Holz, who filmed his friend Daniel Lara at school while repeating Damn Daniel, back at it again with the white Vans. Compilations spread rapidly across Twitter, Vine and YouTube, turning the catchphrase into one of the defining memes of 2016 and landing the pair on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The audio endures because the chant-like repetition is instantly quotable, making it a shorthand for playful sneaker praise and mid-2010s nostalgia in edits.
