Tentang suara ini

Sir Topham Hatt from Thomas the Tank Engine exclaims 'Bother!' in this short clip, perfect for playful fail moments, meme edits and reaction videos.

The voice of Sir Topham Hatt, the no-nonsense Fat Controller who runs the North Western Railway on the Island of Sodor. In this short clip he exclaims 'Bother!' with growing exasperation, the second outburst sharper and louder than the first, turning a mild British complaint into a burst of comic frustration. It lands like a polite but furious scolding, which is exactly why it feels so funny out of context. Dropped over a failed plan, a silly mistake or a character making things worse, the clip instantly sells the mood of a flustered authority figure losing his patience.

Known as the Fat Controller, Sir Topham Hatt comes from the Reverend W. Awdry's Railway Series books and the Thomas the Tank Engine television series that started in the 1980s. His exclamation 'Bother!' is a signature catchphrase from the classic episodes, where he utters it whenever the engines cause trouble. The line spread online through Thomas meme compilations, YouTube poop edits and remixes that pair his scoldings with fail videos. It endures because it is the politest possible outburst, funny precisely because it is so mild.
