इस ध्वनि के बारे में

The calm AI voice line saying "Welcome aboard, captain" from Subnautica, often used in gaming edits, sci-fi memes, and stream intro jokes.

This clip is the familiar onboard AI greeting, delivered in a smooth synthetic voice: “Welcome aboard, captain.” It is short, clean, and instantly gives a scene a futuristic, in-game feel. The line lands as both reassuring and slightly dramatic, like you have just stepped into a base, ship, or command center. Creators use it to announce an entrance, mark a return to safety, or ironically welcome someone into chaos after a bad decision. Its calm delivery makes the joke work even better when the visuals are stressful or completely absurd.

This line is widely recognized from the survival game Subnautica, where the player's onboard system greets them with “Welcome aboard, captain” when entering vehicles or seabases. The game released in 2018 after earlier early-access builds, and the voice line stuck with players because of its polished, soothing delivery. Online, it spread through gaming clips, mod videos, and sci-fi memes, where the contrast between the calm computer voice and dangerous gameplay makes it especially memorable and reusable.
