Jevil from Deltarune shouting I am the devil in disguise, a manic voice clip used for villain reveals, chaotic boss edits and sudden meme twists.

This is a short voice clip of Jevil, the frenzied jester boss from Deltarune, theatrically announcing that he is the devil in disguise. His delivery is high, giggly and unhinged, bouncing between playful singing and a sudden sinister edge that makes the line feel both funny and threatening. The words land like a reveal, as if a harmless clown character has just dropped the act. It works because the contrast is instant: viewers hear the chaos in his voice before they fully process what he said, making any scene feel more wild, deceptive and unpredictable.

Jevil first appeared as the hidden boss of Deltarune Chapter 1, released in 2018 by Toby Fox as a follow-up world to Undertale. Locked away in Card Castle, the jester became a fan favourite for his riddles, laughter and chaotic battle. This clip, taken from an Ostdeutschland Animations video, turns his devilish persona into a standalone quote that fans share outside the game. It spread through soundboards and meme edits because the line instantly signals a playful villain who was never as innocent as he looked.

Who says I am the devil in disguise?

The line is performed as Jevil, the secret jester boss from Deltarune Chapter 1. In this clip his voice is manic and theatrical, presenting the cheerful clown as a hidden devilish threat who enjoys chaos, riddles and playing dangerous games with everyone he meets.

Where is Jevil from?

Jevil comes from Deltarune, the role-playing game created by Toby Fox and first released in 2018. He is an optional hidden boss found in Card Castle in Chapter 1, known for his spinning attacks, broken speech patterns and obsession with freedom and chaos.

How do people use this sound?

Creators use it as a punchline for reveals, betrayals and character edits where someone drops a friendly act. It works best placed at the exact turn, with a pause before it, so the devilish announcement changes a funny scene into a chaotic villain moment.
