Xaropinho screaming sound effect from Programa do Ratinho, the loud mascot yell Brazilians use as a funny reaction and meme audio on WhatsApp.

This is the high pitched scream of Xaropinho, the puppet mascot from Programa do Ratinho, stretched into a loud, panicked yell that lasts a few seconds. The voice cracks and rises in a way that sounds both scared and theatrical, which is why it lands as comedy rather than real alarm. Played over a normal moment, it instantly turns surprise, pain or embarrassment into an exaggerated reaction. The short burst is easy to recognise even without the picture, and Brazilian audiences immediately connect the tone to the chaos of the live TV show.

Xaropinho is the puppet mascot of Programa do Ratinho, the long running Brazilian variety show hosted by Carlos Massa, known as Ratinho, on SBT. The character became famous for loud interjections, screams and comic panic during live segments, auditions and chaotic games. Clips of the voice were later ripped and shared on YouTube, soundboards and WhatsApp groups, where the scream turned into a standalone reaction detached from the show. It remains popular because a single yell instantly signals over the top fright in Brazilian meme culture.
