À propos de ce son

A meme sound built around the viral 'when the imposter is sus' joke from Among Us culture, used in edits when something feels suspicious or absurd.

This clip is the familiar 'when the imposter is sus' meme audio, a joke tied to Among Us and the internet's obsession with calling anything suspicious 'sus.' It usually lands as a dramatic or goofy reveal, turning a normal moment into an intentionally overblown accusation. The sound works because people instantly recognize the phrase and the meme behind it, so even a small glance, odd movement, or awkward pause suddenly feels hilariously incriminating. It gives clips a chaotic, ironic punch without needing much setup.

The phrase grew online during the huge Among Us wave in 2020, when 'sus' became shorthand for suspicious in memes, chats, and gaming clips. Variations of 'when the imposter is sus' spread across TikTok, YouTube, and Discord as ironic reaction audio for anything that looked vaguely incriminating. It stayed popular because the joke is flexible: creators can attach it to gameplay, awkward real-life moments, or random visual gags. It often appears alongside other loud meme reactions such as the Inception Button.
