A topkek meme sound with a smug Lenny face vibe from 4chan shitpost culture. Creators drop it as an ironic laugh reaction for trolls, fails and edgy punchlines.

This is the topkek meme sound, a thirteen-second clip built around the smug, knowing energy of the Lenny face and classic shitpost humor. It plays like a drawn-out ironic laugh, equal parts mocking and playful, with the exaggerated self-satisfaction that made topkek a staple reaction on forums and meme pages. Dropped into a video, it instantly frames whatever just happened as a joke at someone's expense, landing with a wink rather than a punch. Viewers recognize the tone immediately, and the humor comes from that shared understanding that nothing here is meant to be taken seriously.

Topkek grew out of early forum slang, where kek was the Horde faction's rendering of lol in World of Warcraft and top kek became 4chan shorthand for the ultimate ironic laugh. Paired endlessly with the Lenny face emoticon, it became visual shorthand for smug trolling and bait posts across Reddit, image boards and meme pages in the 2010s. Soundboard clips carrying the name spread the joke into video edits, where the phrase works as an instant signal of unserious, in-on-the-joke mockery that still lands with meme-native audiences.
