À propos de ce son

The sinister Vincent Price laugh heard at the end of Michael Jackson's Thriller, used in Halloween edits, horror reveals, and spooky meme videos.

This clip captures the long, sinister laugh that closes Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Performed by actor Vincent Price, it begins with a deep chuckle and grows into an exaggerated, echoing cackle with a theatrical horror tone. The laugh creates an immediate sense of menace while remaining playful enough for campy Halloween content. Its gradual rise makes it especially effective after a frightening reveal, dark punchline, or transformation scene. Listeners recognize it as a dramatic final sting that can turn an ordinary ending into something unmistakably spooky.

The laugh comes from Michael Jackson’s Thriller, the title track of his 1982 album. Horror actor Vincent Price delivers the song’s spoken-word section and its famous closing cackle. The track’s horror theme was expanded in the 1983 short film directed by John Landis, helping the ending become closely associated with Halloween imagery and theatrical scares. Decades of seasonal broadcasts, parodies, dance recreations, and online edits have kept the sound familiar, especially as a final cue for spooky transformations and comic villain moments.
