À propos de ce son

A short clip of the viral Five Nights at Freddy's lyric meme, used in edits, joke reveals and purple guy references online.

This sound is the instantly recognizable “man behind the slaughter” lyric clip tied to Five Nights at Freddy's meme culture. It usually features the dramatic sung line in a processed, slightly eerie style that makes even a short snippet feel ominous and absurd at the same time. Creators use it when revealing a villain, turning something purple for the joke, or cutting to a suspicious character. The clip lands because it blends dark FNAF lore with over-the-top meme timing, so it can feel both genuinely creepy and intentionally ridiculous.

The phrase comes from the song “It's Been So Long” by The Living Tombstone, a fan song inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's that became closely associated with the series' Purple Guy lore. Online, the lyric was clipped, isolated and reused as a punchline in meme edits, especially when anything purple, creepy or secretly villainous appears on screen. It remains popular because it works for both real FNAF references and exaggerated bait-and-switch humor, often alongside a FNAF jumpscare scream in horror-themed posts.
