Acerca de este sonido

The iconic KEKW laugh clip based on El Risitas, widely used in Twitch and gaming memes for funny fails, chaotic moments and over-the-top reactions.

This sound is the familiar KEKW laugh: a fast, wheezy burst of infectious laughter that instantly makes a moment feel more ridiculous. It has a sharp, recognizable cadence, so even a short clip can turn an awkward fail or absurd reveal into a full meme beat. Creators use it when something goes spectacularly wrong, when a joke lands hard, or when they want to underline pure chaos. The effect on viewers is immediate: it signals that the moment is not just funny, but laughably out of control in a very online way.

KEKW is closely tied to Twitch culture and comes from the laughing face of Spanish comedian El Risitas, whose interview clips became a long-running internet meme. The emote version spread widely on Twitch around 2019, especially in gaming streams and chat reactions. As a sound, the laugh is used to mark moments that are hilariously scuffed, badly timed or impossibly dumb in the best way. It remains popular because viewers immediately recognize the tone and associate it with live reactions, spammy chat energy and shared meme language.
