Über diesen Sound

The classic 'Wassup' yelling clip associated with Scary Movie, used as a goofy loud greeting, throwback meme, or sudden interruption in edits and chats.

This sound is the exaggerated 'Wassup' shout made famous through Scary Movie, delivered as a drawn-out, playful greeting with a slightly chaotic tone. It starts like a normal hello, then turns loud and ridiculous in a way that instantly changes the mood of a clip. The voice has a joking, over-the-top energy that works well for surprise entrances, nostalgic meme edits, and group joke moments. Even in a short burst, it gives a scene a dated but recognizable comedy feel that viewers immediately understand.

This clip is widely recognized from Scary Movie, where the stretched-out 'Wassup' greeting became one of the film's most quoted bits. Online, it spread far beyond the movie as a reaction sound for loud hellos, chaotic check-ins, and early-internet style humor. It still shows up in meme compilations, parody phone call edits, and nostalgic posts because the delivery is instantly familiar and easy to drop into a short video without much setup.
