Über diesen Sound

A sus meme clip built around the line "this is my kingdom come," commonly used in ironic edits, bait-and-switch videos, and absurd reveal moments.

This sound is a meme edit centered on the recognizable lyric "this is my kingdom come," but used in a deliberately suspicious or goofy way. Instead of feeling dramatic like the original line, the clip lands as awkward, ironic, and a little cursed, which is exactly why people use it. It works well when a video suddenly reveals something questionable, overconfident, or obviously fake. The contrast between the serious vocal phrase and the "sus" framing gives the sound its joke and makes even simple clips feel more absurd.

This meme sound uses the lyric "this is my kingdom come," widely recognized from the song "Demons" by Imagine Dragons. Online, creators repurpose the line as an ironic setup for suspicious, goofy, or cursed punchlines rather than for its original dramatic mood. It spread through short-form meme edits where the serious vocal delivery clashes with obviously unserious visuals. The clip is still used because that contrast is immediate and easy to understand, especially in sus humor and exaggerated reaction memes.
