Über diesen Sound

A short meme audio of a voice making a fast "glu glu glu" sound linked to the Peru meme. People use it in edits, jokes and random reaction posts.

This clip is a very short vocal meme built around a quick, rolling “glu glu glu” sound. It has a silly, abrupt rhythm that makes a scene feel instantly more absurd, chaotic or unserious. Because it is so brief, creators usually drop it right on a visual punchline, a strange zoom, or a cut to something unexpected. The sound works best when the joke is the sudden noise itself, giving a simple image or reaction shot a weird, playful boost without needing any extra context.

This audio is mainly known online by the label “Peru” and the repeated “glugluglu” sound rather than by a clearly documented source clip. It spread through short meme edits, reposts and chat-share audio culture, where tiny, strange sounds often become in-jokes because they are easy to drop into almost any format. Its staying power comes from how short and flexible it is: the sound can tag confusion, nonsense, awkwardness or pure randomness in just a few seconds.
