The Clash Royale King’s “he he he haw” laugh is a taunting game emote used in memes, gaming edits, fails, and sarcastic reaction videos online.

This short clip features the Clash Royale King’s unmistakable laugh, commonly written as “he he he haw.” The voice begins with several clipped chuckles before ending in a deep, exaggerated final burst. In the game, the laugh works as a playful taunt between opponents, but its smug tone has made it equally effective outside matches. Creators use it to underline mistakes, mock overconfidence, celebrate an easy win, or make an awkward moment feel deliberately ridiculous. Its sharp rhythm and theatrical delivery make the joke immediately recognizable.

The laugh comes from Clash Royale, the mobile strategy game released globally in 2016, where the King appears in expressive emotes used during battles. Players carried the taunting vocalization into gameplay compilations, reaction edits, and short-form meme videos, often spelling it “he he he haw.” It remains popular because the escalating chuckle communicates smug amusement without explanation. Like the Roblox Oof, it also works beyond its original game whenever an edit needs an instantly recognizable gaming reaction.
