Über diesen Sound

A short Big Chungus meme audio clip based on the oversized Bugs Bunny joke, commonly used in edits, ironic reveals and absurd gaming memes.

This sound is a short Big Chungus meme clip used to sell a joke through sheer absurdity. It usually lands as a goofy, oversized reveal sound, making a moment feel deliberately ridiculous and heavier than it needs to be. Creators drop it when a character appears huge, overpowered or strangely dramatic, and the humor comes from the mismatch between the simple visual gag and the grand meme energy. Even in a very short edit, it instantly signals ironic internet humor and a knowingly dumb punchline.

Big Chungus comes from a famous still of Bugs Bunny in the 1941 Merrie Melodies short Wabbit Twouble, where he briefly appears round and exaggerated. The image was later nicknamed Big Chungus and spread widely online as an absurdist meme, especially in image macros, video edits and gaming jokes. The audio attached to the meme varies from upload to upload, but the joke stays recognizable because the name and visual are so well known. It remains popular because it is simple, nostalgic and instantly silly.
