The iconic Master Chief quote from Halo 2, used in gaming edits, hype intros and clips where someone is about to lock in or gear up.

This short clip features Master Chief saying, "I need a weapon," in a calm, confident tone. It is a brief but memorable line that lands hard because of how direct and purposeful it sounds. The quote gives off instant mission-start energy, making it ideal for edits where a character prepares for a fight, a player grabs gear, or someone is about to take a challenge seriously. Even on its own, the delivery feels cool, efficient and unmistakably tied to the Halo style of military sci-fi action.

This quote is spoken by Master Chief in Halo 2, the 2004 game from Bungie. The line became one of the character's most remembered bits of dialogue because it captures his blunt, mission-focused style in just four words. Over time, fans clipped it into montages, machinima, meme edits and gaming compilations as a shorthand for getting serious before action. It still shows up in Halo posts and general gaming content whenever someone wants a clean, instantly recognizable setup line.
