حول هذا الصوت

The classic "I like turtles" quote from the viral zombie interview clip, used in memes and reaction edits for awkward, random or deadpan moments.

This sound is the short, instantly recognizable line “I like turtles,” delivered in a flat, earnest voice during a local news interview that became a long-running internet meme. The clip is brief and dry, which is exactly why it lands so well. It adds a perfectly awkward, random punchline to a video, especially when someone says something strange, off-topic or unexpectedly sincere. Because the delivery is so calm and unbothered, it works as a deadpan reaction that can make an ordinary moment feel absurdly funny.

The phrase comes from a local TV news interview at a zombie-themed public event in 2007, where a child being interviewed answered with the now famous line. The clip spread widely on early viral video sites and has remained a staple reaction sound ever since. Its staying power comes from the contrast between the reporter's normal question and the completely unexpected response. Online, it is still used as a shorthand for random humor, awkward timing and perfectly deadpan delivery.
