حول هذا الصوت

A short augh exclamation of disgust and frustration, used as a reaction sound in memes and edits when something gross, annoying, or awkward happens.

Augh is a brief, guttural exclamation that lands somewhere between a groan, a sigh of disgust, and a frustrated grunt. Delivered in just over a second, it sounds abrupt and exasperated, as if the speaker has just seen, heard, or tasted something they immediately regret. Because it is so short and instantly readable, it works as a punchy reaction beat in videos, cutting straight to the feeling without needing any explanation. Viewers recognise the emotion at once, which makes an awkward, gross, or disappointing moment feel funnier and more relatable.

Augh has no single famous source, which is part of why it travels so easily online. As a short, wordless-style exclamation, it is shared as a generic reaction clip on soundboards and in meme edits, where creators need an instant signal of disgust or exasperation without quoting a specific show or character. Its brevity makes it easy to drop into TikTok videos, Discord chats, and gaming streams, and its meaning stays clear even out of context, so it keeps circulating as a simple, reusable reaction rather than a reference to one moment.
